Aditri Khadilkar is a NY based dramaturg and director

It’s nice to meet you! :)

Work with Me

Who’s that girl?

Aditri (she/they) is a dramaturg and director based in New York, currently earning their BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Theatre Studies from SUNY New Paltz and is expected to graduate in 2026. She’s grown up around the arts, taking Indian classical dancing and singing, guitar, and piano lessons as a child before working behind the scenes.

During their time studying at New Paltz, they’ve found interest in new work development and telling stories by people that historically haven’t had space on the stage. Along with directing and dramaturgy, she dabbles in stage managing and producing new work workshops.

In 2024, she participated in the SUNY Global Engagement Program and spent the semester exploring the connection between international relations and theatre. Their semester thesis was a draft of a Medea adaptation, based on their South Asian heritage and research done on women’s rights in the international relations field. Their thesis and internship placement further amplified their passion for new work. They hope to continue their advocacy work through making art.

Outside the theatre, you can find Aditri at a coffee shop, a museum, or watching Formula 1 as a Ferrari fan.
